More detail

Altar tables are crafted for spiritual needs. Its solid structure and generously proportioned top is designed to hold statues and ritual instruments. They have distinctive designs and are often decorated with auspicious motifs.

This table has two large drawers. Removing the drawers reveals a storage space for personal possessions. There are three panels of calligraphy that from right to left are happiness, career and wealth and long life.

The drawers have carving of peonies, a symbol of wealth and honour. The side aprons depict dragons, symbols of power.
