About the Artist

David has been a professional artist since 1982 working in oil paint and mixed media. Studies include Associate diploma of Fine Arts at the Illawarra Institute 1994-95, Royal Art Society 2004-5. Master classes with various artists including Reinis Zusters.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of History and Art.

About the Exhibition

I have lived by the ocean for a large part of my life, and have observed and painted the coast for many years.

These recent paintings are a mix of some of my best known subjects.

Painting the fragile and precious Great Barrier Reef and the ever changing coastal environment has been a joy in my life for many years, I hope you find a similar pleasure in my paintings.
