Florence the Deluge by Roger Beale AO
I was privileged to do a course in old master techniques at the Florence Academy of Art. Our bedroom window looked across to the Duomo. Florence in summer has spectacular thunderstorms. This is one of them!
About the Artist
Roger Beale AO is a traditional painter who is inspired by the beauty in life.
Roger trained part time at the Queensland Technical College and with teachers including Betty and Roy Churcher, Jon Molvig, Andrew Sibley and Melville Heysom. Peter Kennedy, Mike Parr and Mervyn Moriarty were Brisbane contemporaries.
