Food tray with Pomegranate Carving

This tray would have been used to serve food and fruit. At other times it could be placed on a table as a fruit basket. It comes complete with a lid that has pomegranate carving symbolising a wish for children. The original lacquer is still preserved and clearly visible. The handle has a motif wishing happiness.
