Artist Statement
Naples Night Road We had planned to eat out on a restaurant just beyond the emergency vehicle in this view of the street below our hotel in Naples, but it was far too wet and windy. The light however, was beautiful as it reflected on the cobbles.
About the Artist
Roger Beale AO is a traditional painter who is inspired by the beauty in life.
Roger trained part time at the Queensland Technical College and with teachers including Betty and Roy Churcher, Jon Molvig, Andrew Sibley and Melville Heysom. Peter Kennedy, Mike Parr and Mervyn Moriarty were Brisbane contemporaries.
