Artist Statement
This fence is on a property on Range Road near Mittagong, NSW. Post and rail fences are built without recourse to nails or bolts. The posts have slots cut through their tops and bottoms and the rails are housed into the slots. They are now rare, being replaced by metal stakes and wire. Many have been lost to bushfires. Nostalgia is here in abundance.
